A man has been reported missing after being dropped off at Manchester Airport.
Kerry Dowd, from Southport, was picked up by a taxi from the Scarisbrick Hotel on Thursday April 7. The 63-year-old was then dropped off at Manchester Airport’s Terminal 1 at around 5.45am.
However, after arriving at the airport, police said Mr Dowd had not boarded a flight and would not have his passport with him. There have been no sightings of Mr Dowd since he was dropped off at the airport.

Police are now appealing for help in locating the man. He is described as a white male, about 5ft 9in tall, with short gray hair and a goatee. When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans, and black shoes.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “We are asking for help in locating a 63-year-old Southport man who is missing. Kerry Dowd was picked up by taxi from the Scarisbrick Hotel in Southport and taken at Manchester Airport Terminal 1 at around 5.45am yesterday, Thursday 7th April.
“He did not board a flight and is not believed to have his passport with him. There have been no sightings since. He is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 9 inches, with short gray hair and a goatee.
“He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans and black shoes. Anyone who has seen Mr. Dowd or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact DM @MerPolCC or call 101.
