As anticipation mounts for the Rose of Tralee festival, the Roses themselves are ready to enjoy a whirlwind tour of Wicklow.
Glamorous women will have the chance to visit some of Garden County’s most popular tourist attractions and see some of the county’s stunning scenery.
Wicklow Rose Roisin Long will host fellow Roses for their county tour ahead of their preparations for the popular pageant final.
Their county tour showcases all that Wicklow has to offer and kicks off in spectacular style on Tuesday at Powerscourt Estate, where they will tour the gardens.
The Roses then head to Glendalough to explore the monastic site and Lake Superior.
After that, the Roses visit Brittas Bay, before heading to the Arklow Bay Hotel, where they will stay for an evening gala reception and enjoy the hospitality of the four-star hotel.
An early start awaits them on Wednesday as they head to Wicklow’s new tourist destination, Beyond the Trees at Avondale House and Forest Park in Rathdrum.
The Roses will then be taken to meet celebrity chef Catherine Fulvio and enjoy a culinary experience at Ballyknocken House.
After lunch they will stop at the Wicklow Gap, before crossing the Wicklow Mountains to spend time at historic Russborough House near Blessington.
Once they have completed their tour of Wicklow, they proceed to the next county until they reach Tralee, where the Rose of Tralee festival finale kicks off on Friday 19th August.
