Pikes Peak shuttle bundle to reopen on weekends as vacation travel season begins – CBS Denver


DENVER (CBS4) – The Pikes Peak shuttle parking lot at Denver International Airport will reopen on weekends for travelers. The lot has been closed for almost a year and a half, with the exception of a quick opening last month.

The lot will be open on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 4.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. until further notice. The DIA says travelers using Pikes Peak should allow an additional 30 minutes to get to the terminal. The DIA has struggled all year trying to find enough people to operate their shuttles.

According to DIA: during the parking lot closing week, shuttles will continue to run from the terminal to the parking lot to allow passengers to collect their vehicles. Passengers can take the shuttle back to their car at Pikes Peak on the east side only, Level 5, Island 3. The pick-up number is 303-342-4160.
