The Queens Chamber of Commerce has announced the 19 outstanding building projects that will be honored at its 2022 Building Recognition Awards on October 13, which will be held at the iconic TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy Airport. The evening will celebrate excellence in the construction and design of building projects in Queens and will feature a keynote address by Eric Ulrich, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Buildings.
The Queens Chamber of Commerce has hosted a building awards ceremony since 1926. For more than 95 years, business and community leaders have come together to honor buildings and projects that have helped improve architectural heritage of Queens and to keep the borough vibrant, sustainable and livable. “Queens is a growing and ever-changing borough, and as it continues to thrive, we see our real estate and development community bringing exciting new projects and spaces to the area. These talented architects and builders add to the richness of the Borough and we look forward to coming together to honor their projects at our 2022 Building Awards on October 13 at the TWA Hotel,” said Tom Grech, President and Chief management of the Queens Chamber.
