Alfredo Morelos prepared for his return to Ranger action by training alone in a hotel parking lot.
The Colombian had to end a period of isolation after returning from his homeland.
Steven Gerrard has granted Morelos extra leave after representing his country at this summer’s Copa America in Brazil.
After returning to Scotland, Morelos had to isolate himself in a Glasgow airport hotel before being allowed to join his teammates at Auchenhowie.
That means he missed Saturday’s 3-0 win over Livingston at Ibrox as Rangers kicked off the 2021/22 Scottish Premiership season and their title defense they won last season.

The Gers will also have to do without the 25-year-old for the Champions League third qualifying round first leg against Malmö.
The team flew to Sweden without Morelos and Ryan Jack, who is continuing his comeback from injury.
But Morelos will be in contention to feature in next week’s second leg, which could be played to a full house if the Scottish government gives the green light when it lifts Covid restrictions.
And he is aiming for a league trip this weekend to Dundee United for his first appearance of the season.
The Gers are in Tannadice to kick off the lunch hour and Morelos has kept up with some solo runs in the hotel parking lot, which has been spotted and filmed by an eagle-eyed fan from an overhanging building.
